Homework |

|
As stated in the Family-School Handbook, homework is all
outside work that fulfills the following purposes: Practice, drill,
remediation and enrichment. Homework may or may not be graded.
Students are expected to complete homework prior to the start of the school
day. Homework may be done during morning or afternoon care.
Homework is one of the components of the report card grade. To facilitate the homework process, teachers will copy assignments on the chalkboard or provide a handout. Every student is to copy the homework into a homework the required planner on a daily basis. Parents of students in grades K-5 are asked to sign the homework pad everyday. Parents of students in grades 6-8 are asked to review the homework on a regular basis and develop and age-appropriate accountability method to ensure homework is done.
