2008-2009 Extended Care Program

PCO won a 5 year federal grant via the NJ Dept. of Education to provide after school services for children in 4 Plainfield area schools.  NCCA was selected as the private institution for this program.

The hours of the program will be 3:00-6:00pm.  All activities will be located at NCCA or at the PCO facility at 600 Cleveland Avenue, walking distance from the school. The program includes rigorous academic tutoring coupled with enrichment programs including classical voice training, dance, acting, music, art, martial arts and more taught by area professionals.  Adult Education classes and Friday Family Fun Night at PCO round out the offering.

The program is available to students in grades 4-8 for the nominal fee of $1 per school day.

A limited number of students in K-2 will be eligible for Extended Care for a nominal fee.  Although the program will not be the same for K-2, the younger students will receive supervised care.  Contact the office for an application and more information.

Morning care will be available for a limited number of students 1 hour before the school day starts.
